Diagnostics

A diagnostics assessment allows you to increase self-awareness, identify strengths and areas of opportunity, and create actionable development plans, leading to greater leadership effectiveness and fostering a more positive and productive work environment.

The Centre for Leadership Excellence are accredited in The Life Styles Inventory (LSI), which gives you balancing perceptions between your intentions and the resulting impact.

It includes:

  • The LSI1 (self-description), an opportunity to take a close look at yourself. You assess yourself on your thinking styles, personal effectiveness, and satisfaction at work and home.

  • The LSI2 (others' descriptions), which is completed by up to ten of your peers, managers and/or team members. It assesses behaviour and effectiveness.

You will be sent a diagnostic assessment via email, to be completed at your own pace. Once completed, you will be contacted to organise a debrief session.

Eligibility

You must be a Queensland Health senior or executive leader (e.g., DSO/HSO/SO and above), employed in a permanent or temporary capacity in a Queensland Health hospital or health facility or with Queensland Ambulance Service. You are considered a Senior Leader if you report to an Executive Director or above.

Limited spots are available each year and access to diagnostic assessments will be regularly provided.
