Opportunities for Leadership Teams
In addition to opportunities to build individual Senior and Executive Leader capability, the Centre for Leadership Excellence has a range of options to strengthen the collective capability, culture, and effectiveness of Senior and Executive Leadership Teams.
The Team Management Profile (TMP) is a science-based tool for personal, team, and leadership development. It identifies what drives high-performing teams by exploring individual work preferences and approaches and provides constructive insights to help individuals understand their working style and develop effective collaboration strategies. This shared understanding fosters a common language and appreciation of each person's unique strengths and contributions, boosting team performance and enabling positive change across an organisation. Improved alignment between work preferences and job demands increased energy, commitment, and motivation, creating high-performing teams.
The tool is used by leading Australian and global organisations to support individuals and teams and has been favourably reviewed by the British Psychological Society as providing valid and reliable workplace psychometric assessments.
The TMP consists of two parts:
-
TMP Questionnaire: Individuals complete a survey on work style preferences, generating a personalised profile report.
-
Team Debrief: A group session to identify team members energising work types, strengths, challenges, communication needs, and next steps to achieve team and individual goals.
The Centre for Leadership Excellence team are accredited in administering the TMP tool and can facilitate contextualised TMP team debrief sessions either face to face or virtually.

When the CLE Learning Library launches in November, Senior and Executive Leaders will have access to a range of features, including the creation of content playlists based on local priorities that can be shared directly with teams. These playlists, along with features that support learning groups and reflection opportunities may support deeper learning, application, and impact at the collective level.
Guides and resources to support leaders to leverage content and tools in the CLE Learning Library will be available closer to launch. In preparation, you may like to start considering the highest priority capabilities you'd like to develop with your team.
