An experiential program, Manage4Improvement is designed to build the confidence and capability of leaders to successfully implement system improvements to enhance organisational and patient outcomes, through building knowledge in key concepts including quality improvement, clinical governance and value-based healthcare. The sessions will support learners in their journey to strengthen their improvement practices, communication, negotiation skills, and provide opportunities to share a range of tools and tips in a safe space with fellow peers.

Program Objectives

  • Explore improvement and strategic change management methodologies

  • Build strategic influencing and political astuteness skills needed to manage, negotiate and influence with impact

  • Develop an understanding of the Queensland Health system and how it performs

  • Learn how to develop and select improvement solutions

  • Learn strategies to build effective teams, effectively communicate with stakeholders
