Business Planning Framework
The Business Planning Framework (BPF) process is a structured process for examining the environment and context to best allocate resources to meet service needs.
Note
Everyone contributes differently towards the BPF for their HHS so please speak with your leader to confirm your role in this.
SWOT Analysis
As part of the BPF a SWOT analysis is conducted to identify the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats that may impact planning and decision making:
Strengths
Strengths must be positive and tangible.
Weaknesses
Weaknesses must have a solution identified that is achievable – through financial planning, staffing or other relevant methods.
Opportunities
Opportunities must be accompanied with a quality activity plan/project.
Threats
Threats must have been previously escalated through management.
