Flexible Working Arrangements
Queensland Health supports and encourages the implementation of flexible working arrangements for the mutual benefit of our patients, employees and our organisation. Flexible work can take many forms and be used for various reasons, and because everyone is different, no single option suits all. Arrangements can be adapted and combined to meet individual needs - some employees prefer structure and routine, while others perform best when balancing competing work and life responsibilities.
When deciding and implementing, a flexible arrangement, leaders should consider the needs of the individual, the team, patients, and the broader organisation. All flexible working arrangement must be approved by the appropriate delegate before implementation.
Flexible Working Arrangements policy
The Flexible Working Arrangements policy outlines the industrial provisions and applies to all Queensland Health employees.
