Hospital Based Corporate Information System (HBCIS)
HBCIS is the corporate information system used by all public hospitals in Queensland containing both admitted and non-admitted data.
Data recorded in HBCIS includes:

Admissions

Discharges
-
Outpatient attendances

Medical record movements.
Note
Unit Record Numbers (URNs) are generated and retained in HBCIS.
Emergency Department Information System (EDIS)
EDIS is one of two Emergency Department (ED) information systems used by Queensland Health. It’s an enterprise clinical information system which assists Queensland Health ED clinicians to triage and document the treatment and all ED attendances.

If you have new staff starting who will need access to EDIS, they’ll need to complete this template.
Auslab/Auscare
AUSLAB is an integrated laboratory information system in pathology, clinical measurements, forensics and public health laboratories. It provides real-time results which are uploaded by the pathology labs.
