The Centre for Leadership Excellence is pleased to support development opportunities from the University of Tasmania.

This free six-week short course is designed to introduce you to the principles of health service improvement utilising healthcare redesign methodology. The course will develop your expertise in planning, implementation and evaluation of evidence-based health service improvements and develop your advanced problem-solving and analytical skills to help 'diagnose' service delivery issues and inefficiencies. This course will prepare you to lead the positive change you want to see in healthcare service delivery and is aimed at health professionals in any health discipline, including nursing, allied health, medicine, administration, management and leadership, pathology and para medicine.

Course duration

The course is designed to take six weeks. However, it is not time limited and you can access the content any time once you have enrolled. If you wish to complete the course quicker, you can access the quiz at the end of each module, which will give you access to the next module.

Do I get a certificate on completion?

A certificate is available on successful completion of the course for a small cost ($20 for a digital certificate).
